SuppLy Quality Engineer

Location: Taicang, China

Qualification and required

education/experience

• Engineering degree in Automotive or Mechanics

• Acquaintance of automotive parts

• Very good understanding of QM systems

  (VDA6.1, TS16949 etc.)

• Very good understanding of technical documents

  (e.g. drawings, test reports etc.)

• Experience in supply quality and product development

• Experience in quality processes for manufacturing

• Willingness to travel (20% to 30% of work time)

• Very good spoken and written English, German is a plus

• Good spirit for team work with colleagues

  and the sourcing team

Tasks and responsibilities

• Pre-Selection of suitable suppliers according to

  our quality policies

• Internal and external technical support

• Preparation of technical documents and presentations

• Follow up of documentation for suppliers’ product quality

  (e.g. audits, QAA etc.)

• Identification of new products and product groups

• Claims management (8D reports)

• Organization and coordination of product development

  for new products

• Determination of internal quality processes

  (e. g. logistics, sourcing etc.)

• Maintenance of technical and quality data

  in our supplier database
