Camshaft adjusters are utilized both in toothed belt drives as well as timing chain drives and enable an increase in the engine’s efficiency.

The optimized valve timing achieved in this manner provides a significant reduction of emissions and fuel consumption, which is a result of a more effective combustion in the engine.

In the course of this, the camshaft adjusters are controlled via the control valves for the camshaft adjustment, which act as the pulse generator and command receiver of the engine control module and in this manner form a function system with the camshaft adjusters.

With the introduction of these two new product groups, PartsTec has more than 120 different types of camshaft adjusters and more than 200 types of oil control valves, which can be utilized for both various European as well as Asian applications.
